No Treatment If They're English
(The Department of Health
: Bans Cancer Drug -Velcade,
for England)
It is time to put and end to NICE? This unelected quango, and
front for the Heath Depatment, has once again slithered from under its stone in order to announce that
it, will not approve the bone cancer drug Velcade.
Despite the fact that the drug can put the disease into remission and therefore
increase life expectancy dramatically, it is not, they pronounce, cost
effective.
I am
quite certain that those poor unfortunates who suffer from the disease, or from
bone marrow cancer, together with their relatives may well take issue with their
findings, as have:
- The All Wales Medicines Strategy Group
- The Scottish Medicines Consortium
- The Regional Medical Specialities Consortium in Northern Ireland
- Plus every other developed country in the world
All of the above have approved Velcade for its citizens.
Are there no doctors in
England who are prepared to put their patients first, and refuse to heed any further
rulings from this arrogant and unelected bureaucracy? Will not one of them demand the right
to give their patients, in England, the same standard of care as enjoyed by the
rest of the UK, and the developed world? Or are they more committed to placating
their paymaster, than to the welfare of their patients?
Is it conceivable that the holder of the UK's purse strings, Gordon Brown,
is harbouring a racial hatred against the English?
Could that explain why students in Scotland get free
university places, giving them a clear advantage over their English counterparts who have to slide into debt?
Is that why
residential care for the elderly is free in
Scotland, but once again their counterparts in England have to pay?
Is that why, bone cancer patients in Scotland and Wales
are permitted to have drugs barred to those in England?
Can any one please tell me - just, what the hell is going
on?
Today I read that a Liverpudlian has been jailed
for 'Race Crime' putting messages of hate on a website.
How strange it is, that a Government which
champions 'Human Rights', should act illegally to deny someone of theirs.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
transcends both domestic and European law.
Article 19. The Universal Declaration of Human
Rights:
'Everyone has the right
to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes the freedom to hold
opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and
ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.'
A grave injustice in the name of 'Political
Correctness' has been done by a House of Commons, composed in the main of a slither of unscrupulous lawyers, who in their quest for power and riches, have betrayed the very nation they were elected to serve. Traitors, who have reneged on their oath of allegiance to the Queen, and their promises to the electorate. They have made us, without our consent, subserviant to the Socialist States of Europe.
I for one will vote for UKIP in future, and continue to press for a criminal prosecution against those who have contrived to steal our freedom.
